To reduce environmental impact, OMRON ASO provides products that contribute to our customers' ecological activities, through our development of ecological products, elimination of hazardous substances, and promotion of green procurement, along with our proactive measures for on-site recycling of waste materials (with achievement of Zero Emission Ⅱ) and our proactive measures for energy conservation.

Based on the Corporate Motto and Corporate Philosophy of Omron Group, we are deeply aware of CSR as a member of the international society and set G-EMS Environmental Policy and promote global business activities in an environmentally friendly manner in order to realize providing the useful products for society with using minimum management resources such as human resources, materials, money ,energy and etc.

1. 1．We clarify the impacts of the G-EMS business activities, products and services on the environment, establish the Environmental Management System and ensure continuous improvement of the System in order to promote reduction in environmental loads and prevention of environmental pollution.
2. 2．Complying with the environmental laws and regulations related to the environmental aspects of G-EMS and other requirements we decided to accept , we establish the voluntary standard that can be reasonably established in considering the present capacity and the acutual condition, and take actions for environmental conservation and prevention of pollution.
3. 3．G-EMS is continously improving the following issues:
   1. (1) Promotion of resource conservation activities for improving resource productivity
   2. (2) Promotion of energy conservation activities for reducing CO2 emission
   3. (3) Promotion of reduction in waste generation and of recycling activities
   • For the following issues, we select the appropriate ones that match the essential services of each organization and take actions for their improvement.
   1. (1) Creation of products and technologies that can contribute to customers' environmental load reduction or improvement of environmental efficiency
   2. (2) Collection of customers' environmental improvement needs and their realization
   3. (3) Environmental improvement or education that matches the major functions of the organization
4. 4．Under the Environmental Policy, we establish the environmental objectives, targets and programmes to tackle the environmental preservation activities, and review the System and the relevant activities through periodical evaluation and internal environment audits, and ensure to improve the standard of the System and the relevant activities.
5. 5．In order to accomplish the Environmental Policy smoothly and efficiently, we establish the framework for G-EMS to improve our environmental preservation activities and make it known to all employees by providing necessary education to them. We also make the Environmental Policy and its relevant operational requirements known to all contractors and subcontractors engaged in Omron related to G-EMS operation by providing the necessary education to them.
6. 6．We sincerely take appropriate actions to the stakeholders’ environment-related requests with good faith.
7. 7．We actively participate in opportunities for social contribution related to the environment.
8. 8．We disclose the Environmental Policy and the status of our environmental preservation activities to the public in an appropriate manner.
